BASIC 2 pupils in the country started today with the National Standardized test (NST), just as it was said earlier this year by Professor Edward Appiah, the Director General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).
The test is conducted face-to-face and one-on-one which takes about two hours. Subject areas for the test are English Language and Mathematics. It will end on the 14th December 2022. NST is for the assessment of curriculum standards including the 4Rs, knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that are central to the new Pre-Tertiary education curriculum. And also, helps generate data on the performance of pupils in English Language and Mathematics.
