The Asante Akim Central Municipal assembly has organized its annual General assembly meeting as stipulated by law.

The General assembly meeting was organized on the 6th June, 2022 at the Assembly hall of Asante Akim Municipal Assembly. Participants included: Assembly members, government appointees, and the various sectional heads of the assembly. The Honorable Presiding member Mr. Ohemeng Samuel moderated the proceedings of the assembly

The Presiding Member was joined by the Honorable Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Robert Kwakye and the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. David Owusu Ansah.

The Main Agenda for the event included:

DAY ONE:

• Opening Prayer
• Opening Remarks by Presiding Members
• Sessional address by Municipal Chief Executive
• Discussion and adoption of sessional address
• Laying of executive commitee report
• Discussion and adoption of EC report

DAY TWO:

• Discussion of PRCC report
• Composition of institutional board of governors
• Composition of sub-commitees in the assembly
• Reports from the members in order of receipt
• Questions from members in order of receipt
• Motions from Members in order of receipt
• Any other business item introduced in the Agenda
• Adjournment

The Meeting ended with the making of resolutions concerning the agenda raised and the assignment of the various officers in charge of the respective issues with their implementation.

The meeting started on the 6th June, 2022 and ended on the 7th June, 2022.
