The Asante Akim Central Municipal assembly has organized its annual General assembly meeting as stipulated by law.

The General assembly meeting was organized on the 23rd November, 2021 at the Assembly hall of Asante Akim Municipal Assembly. Participants included: Assembly members, government appointees, and the various sectional heads of the assembly. The Honorable Presiding member Mr. Ohemeng Samuel moderated the proceedings of the assembly

The Presiding Member was joined by the Honorable Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Robert Kwakye and the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. David Owusu Ansah.

The Main Agenda for the event included:

DAY ONE:

• Opening Remarks and Adoption of minutes
• Reading / correction and adoption of previous minutes
• Matters arising from previous minutes
• Laying of the Executive committee report
• Laying/drafting and adoption of the 2021 Annual action plan
• Laying/ discussion and the adopting of the 2021 annual Composite budget

DAY TWO:

• Discussion /adoption of executive committee report
• Reports from the members in order of receipt
• Motions from Members in order of receipt
• Questions from members in order of receipt
• Adjournment
• Announcement

The Meeting ended with the making of resolutions concerning the agenda’s raised and the assignment of the various officers in charge of the respective issues with their implementation.

The meeting started on the 23rd November, 2021 and ended on the 24th November, 2021.
